Terms of Service

Effective November 2, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you, the parent, guardian or teacher, and Stem Work Co., which runs Creative Sprout Learning under its Creative Sprout Designs brand.

By creating an account or starting a plan, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

The short version

• Accounts are for adults 18 or older. Children play only through a profile that a parent or teacher creates.
• Paid plans renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel any time in Manage billing, and you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
• There are no free trials. Instead, some games and printables are free for everyone, no card needed.
• Games and printables are for your own family or your own classroom, not for resale or sharing.

Accounts

Only adults 18 or older may create an account; children use the site only through profiles that an adult creates and supervises.

• You are responsible for your account. Keep your password private, and tell us right away if you think someone else has used it.
• Child profiles. A parent may create up to 4 child profiles after giving parental consent, as described in the Privacy Policy. Use a first name or nickname only.
• Classrooms. A teacher may create classes of up to 35 students. By creating a class, you confirm that your school allows you to use Creative Sprout Learning with your students and to accept these terms and the Privacy Policy on the school's behalf. If your school has its own agreement with us, that agreement controls where it differs from these terms.
• Accurate information. Give us a real email address so we can send consent, billing and safety notices.

Plans and cancelling

Paid plans renew automatically at the price shown until you cancel, and you can cancel online at any time in a few clicks.

• Starting a plan. At checkout we show the price, how often you'll be charged, and how to cancel, and we ask you to agree to automatic renewal separately. Payments are processed by Stripe.
• No free trials. Your card is charged when you start a plan, and the plan begins right away. To try us out first, play the free games and download the free printable samples.
• Renewal reminders. For yearly plans, we email you before each renewal with the price and how to cancel.
• Cancelling. Go to Dashboard → Manage billing → Cancel plan, or email us. Cancelling stops future charges; you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. We never make you call or chat to cancel.
• Refunds. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are not refundable. If you forgot to cancel a renewal, email us within 14 days of the charge and we will refund it if the plan hasn't been used since.
• Price changes. We will email you at least 30 days before a price change takes effect, with instructions to cancel. The new price applies from your next renewal after that notice.
• Failed payments. If a payment fails, Stripe will retry it. If it still fails, your account moves to the Free plan, and your children's progress is kept.

The plan prices above match the site today. If the site and this table ever differ, the price shown at checkout applies.

Using the games and printables

You may use everything on the site with your own children or your own students, but you may not copy, share or resell it.

• What you may do: play the games, print the printable packs, and make enough copies for your own family or for the students in your own classes.
• What you may not do: share your login or printable files with other families, teachers or schools; post them online, including on shared drives open to others; resell or repackage them; or use them to make a competing product. Each teacher needs their own Classroom plan.
• Ownership. Stem Work Co. owns the games, artwork, narration, printables and site, except for third-party material used under license. Emoji graphics are from Twemoji (© X Corp and contributors) under the CC-BY 4.0 license.
• Free items. Free games and printables follow the same rules.
• Your feedback. If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them without owing you anything.

Acceptable use and ending your account

Please use the site the way it is meant to be used: for learning.

• Don't try to get into accounts, classes or data that aren't yours, or to get around paid-plan limits.
• Don't copy the site with automated tools, overload it, or interfere with how it works.
• Don't enter children's last names, contact details or other sensitive information in names or class names.
• Don't use the site for anything illegal.

You can leave at any time. Use Delete my account on the dashboard. This cancels your plan and deletes your data as the Privacy Policy describes.

We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms, after warning you when that is reasonable. If we close a paid account without cause, we will refund the unused part of your current period. If we ever shut down the site, we will give at least 30 days' notice and refund unused prepaid time.

Legal details

We work hard to make the site accurate and reliable, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free.

• No guarantees. The site is provided "as is" and "as available." It supports learning; it does not replace a teacher, school or professional evaluation, and we don't guarantee particular learning results.
• Limit of liability. As far as the law allows, Stem Work Co. is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
• Disputes. Please contact us first; most problems can be solved by email. These terms are governed by the laws of Illinois, and any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts of McHenry County, Illinois, unless your local consumer law gives you the right to bring it where you live. You may also use small claims court.
• Changes to these terms. If we make a material change, we will email account holders at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the new terms; if you don't, you can cancel and delete your account.
• Everything else. If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the site.
